Maintenance is in progress. You may run into a few errors or slowdowns. Thank you for your patience.
My name is Camille, I'm a developer, and for 5 years I had the privilege of working with Delphine Py and more than 60 psychologists on the Psynergy project.
This adventure, a true innovation lab, allowed us to reinvent the way patients follow their therapy. Psynergy offered a unique approach: asynchronous therapy, in which patients communicated with their psychologists through text, audio or video messages. The professionals replied with video messages within the day, giving patients unprecedented flexibility.

During this project, a recurring problem emerged: psychologists were sending their patients questionnaires as PDFs. Patients had to print them, fill them out by hand, scan them, then send them back. Psychologists then had to calculate the scores by hand. The process was slow, error-prone and tedious.
In response, we built automated tests into Psynergy, with instant score calculation. This considerably simplified psychologists' work, letting them focus on what really matters: therapeutic care. That is how the idea behind Mentaal was born.
Unfortunately, Psynergy had to close its doors, but psychologists still had the same need. They were looking for a simpler way to manage patient assessments. That transition gave me the chance to try to meet their expectations. For several months, I worked hand in hand with psychologists to co-create Mentaal, a platform dedicated to psychological assessments.
The goal was clear: design the simplest, most effective way for a psychologist to administer assessments to their patients. Thanks to constant feedback and many iterations, Mentaal came to life: an intuitive, high-performing platform, born from a close collaboration between a developer, a designer and mental health professionals.
To keep Mentaal running and cover part of the infrastructure costs, a subscription of €10 per month was introduced. This model keeps the platform going while making it accessible to as many practitioners as possible.
