Scoring & interpretation
The CTQ includes 5 subscales (emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional neglect, physical neglect) with scores ranging from 5 to 25 for each subscale, plus a minimization scale. Results are interpreted according to defined cutoffs, which make it possible to categorize the severity level of each form of trauma.
