Scoring & interpretation
Each item is rated on a scale from 0 to 4. The scores of the 5 obsession items (0-20) are added up, and likewise for the 5 compulsion items (0-20), to give a total severity score between 0 and 40. The higher the score, the more severe the symptoms.
