Scoring & interpretation
The DIVA follows a semi-structured format in which each DSM-IV-TR criterion for ADHD is explored through questions focusing on current and past symptoms in the individual's life. The assessment is subjective, taking into account the perspective of the patient and, ideally, of someone close to them.
