Opioid Risk Tool (ORT)
The Opioid Risk Tool (ORT) is a questionnaire that assesses the risk of developing problematic use of or dependence on opioids in patients for whom such treatment is being considered for chronic non-cancer pain. It helps clinicians anticipate opioid-related risk behaviors based on individual factors.

Scoring & interpretation
The responses are added up according to an established scoring system for each risk factor (family history, personal history, age, sex, etc.). The final score is interpreted at three levels: low, moderate, or high risk of opioid misuse. Specific follow-up or support recommendations are proposed according to the score obtained.
