Scoring & interpretation
The WAIS-IV generates a Full Scale IQ score as well as four indices: Verbal Comprehension Index (VCI), Perceptual Reasoning Index (PRI), Working Memory Index (WMI), and Processing Speed Index (PSI). Each subtest is scored individually, and the scores are combined to obtain the indices and the Full Scale IQ.
